As a member of the Bouygues Construction Group, we have been operating in Australia for over 25 years. During this time, we have successfully delivered several major projects, including the Sydney Airport Link (T2 Airport Line), NorthConnex, and WestConnex 3A.
As an HSE Coordinator, you will ensure the safety and compliance of our workforce through effective administration and policy implementation.
Key Responsabilities:
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation, systems and templates (procedures, forms, inductions, incident workflow), in accordance with the corporate HSE policies and procedures
- Pre-start meetings, toolbox, training schedule
- Identify, develop and conduct related training
- Quality management and Quality System training
- Take part in the yearly safety audits to identify workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, working practices or working conditions and implement the subsequent the corrective actions
- Assist incident reporting through data entry, evidence collection and tracking corrective actions
- Participate in site visits to support safety engagement, observations and implementation of system improvements
- Maintain and analyse records of workplace injuries, illness and absence to identify areas of concern
- Educate and train the project team’s workforce on HSE policies and standards
- Support in continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a proactive safety culture
- Commitment and implementation of OHS and Safety in line with responsibilities detailed on the Bouygues Construction Australia MA-HS-01 OHS Manual and PL-HS-01 Safety Management Plan
Your Profile:
- Minimum diploma in OHS
- Engineering degree is valuable
- 1-2 years of experience
- Certification IV WHS or equivalent
- Experience in administrative roles supporting HSE or compliance functions
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Good level of English
