Bouygues Construction’s Procurement network is developing a decentralised purchasing policy, organised as a network and coordinated on behalf of Bouygues Construction's activities.
Operating in 10 countries, the Bouygues Construction Trading & Logistics teams aim to provide their customers with turnkey international supply chain solutions that are secured and competitive and stand out from the crowd. An expert in internation sourcing, the Trading & Logistics Buyer manages the operational, contractual, logistical, customs, tax and financial risks specific to cross-border operations.
Operational Missions :
Purchasing :
- Research, audit and qualify suppliers in Europe and Africa
- Source, tender, negotiate and purchase from suppliers worldwide to support Bouygues Construction’s projects and entities (COLAS, EQUANS, BBI, BYTP, etc.)
- Secure transactions through the implementation of the appropriate payment terms (letter of credit, bank guarantee, stand by letter, etc.)
Logistics :
- Coordinate logistics operations, contractual and financial matters in liaison with BYCN T&L France.
- Handle and supervise the monitoring of orders : control of delivery schedule, coordination quality inspections, insure application of CSR procurement policy.
- Coordinate the submission of trading and logistics bids via BYCN T&L.
Strategy :
- Create a competitive advantage for local markets by delivering cross-border supply and delivery solution from EA
Management :
- Train and manage a Junior Purchaser
Profile Required :
Hard skills :
- At least 2 years experience in purchasing.
- Experience in cross-border operations and Logistics.
- Experience in international trade operations with L/C .
- Fluent in English, French.
Soft skills :
- Ability to communicate effectively with an international network of buyers.
- Proven negotiating skills.

As a member of the purchasing team, you will play a key role in Bouygues Construction's environmental and social transition. You will be responsible for making the following tasks part of your day-to-day work: o Reducing the carbon footprint of purchasing and promoting the circular economy. o Encourage local economic development by integrating VSEs, SMEs and social structures. o Ensuring that suppliers respect human rights and ethics. o Develop sustainable partnerships by assessing suppliers' CSR performance.
