As a member of the Bouygues Construction Group, we have been operating in Australia for over 25 years. During this time, we have successfully delivered several major projects, including the Sydney Airport Link (T2 Airport Line), NorthConnex, and WestConnex 3A.

As a Procurement Officer on the Antarctic Infrastructure Renewal project, you will assist in procurement and contract activities to support smooth and efficient project delivery.

 

 

Key Responsalities

 

  • Identify synergies between project needs and standardise requirements where possible to optimise sourcing and leverage volume.
  • Collation of Request for Quotation and Invitation to Tender packages.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary procurement documentation to ensure smooth and compliant processes.
  • Develop detailed tender analyses and define negotiation strategies to support decision-making.
  • Participate in technical and commercial discussions with shortlisted suppliers to assess their suitability.
  • Assist in negotiations to secure the best commercial and contractual conditions in line with budget constraints.
  • Provide clear recommendations to the Production team and management based on analysis and outcomes.
  • Prepare, review, and support the finalisation of contracts with selected suppliers.
  • Monitor contract execution status.
  • Support the definition and tracking of KPIs and maintain up-to-date procurement data and reporting tools.
  • Assist in local purchasing activities to meet project needs efficiently.
  • Engage with suppliers throughout the procurement cycle to ensure alignment and performance

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement
  • 2–3 years of professional experience (excluding internships)
  • Experience in the construction sector
  • Excellent relationship skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to critique, recommend and implement initiatives that seek efficiencies either from a process or systems perspective
  • Experienced in the use of Excel
  • Very good level of English ~ C1
  • Start on the 1st of July 2026 only.
