CBNA (Civil & Building North America) and Bouygues Construction Canada, both subsidiaries of Bouygues Travaux Publics, carry out major heavy civil projects in the US and Canada. We have been operating in North America since 2002, delivering large-scale projects such as the groundbreaking Port Miami Tunnel. We currently have operations in Rhodes Island, Washington DC, Montana and Vancouver. Our expertise extends throughout underground works, river and maritime works, linear projects, signature bridges, industrial civil engineering.
The HR & Communication Advisor (VIE) will play a key role in driving the implementation of HRIS systems and leading the HR development strategy for both CBNA and Bouygues Construction Canada. In addition, the VIE will oversee internal and external communications for both entities.
Key Responsibilities:
HRIS:
- Lead the implementation of Global HR, our internal HR system including recruitment, compensation & benefits, talent review and annual appraisal modules.
- Lead the implementation of a SharePoint for Bouygues Construction Canada and CBNA.
- Assist in the maintenance, data entry, and data integrity of Global HR and Sharepoint.
- Support system upgrades and testing, documenting issues and assisting with resolutions.
HR Development:
- Manage the training budget and strategy.
- Design, develop and organise training (Onboarding day, intercultural trainings, etc).
- Create and implement a Diversity & Inclusion strategy for North America.
Communication:
- Draft, edit, and distribute HR-related communications, such as newsletters, emails, and LinkedIn posts.
- Help coordinate company-wide HR campaigns (e.g., engagement surveys, wellness initiatives).
- Participate in the improvement of CBNA website.
- Lead the implementation of Bouygues Construction Canada website.
- Support the development of employee guides, training catalogues, etc
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human resources, Communication, or related field.
- First experience required in human resources or communication.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- First experience in project management is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint).
