Position Overview:
The HSE Superintendent – Management Systems & Data Administration is accountable for leading the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, legal requirements, and corporate standards. The role ensures robust HSE data governance, integrity, and analysis to support regulatory compliance, strategic decision-making, and continuous performance enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
- Ensure management system compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and company HSE policies.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor internal and external audits and compliance assessments.
- Manage the document control process including procedures, forms, and records lifecycle.
- Supervise HSE data administration processes, ensuring data accuracy, validation, and traceability.
- Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and analytics using tools like Excel, Power BI, Enablon, Cority.
- Provide HSE data support during incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Facilitate training programs for staff and contractors on HSE systems and digital tools.
- Oversee and mentor HSE data administrators and support their professional development.
- Drive digitalization initiatives and innovation in HSE information systems.
- Monitor and ensure the closure of audit findings, corrective actions, and improvement actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with site teams, contractors, and leadership to ensure HSE data quality and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HSE roles, including 3+ years in system/data administration or supervisory positions.
- Strong command of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system implementation.
- Proficient in data platforms (e.g., Enablon, Cority) and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Demonstrated success in audit coordination, compliance reporting, and HSE analytics.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery skills.
- Analytical mindset with a commitment to digital transformation and innovation.
- Experience in mining, oil & gas, or construction sectors is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to work in a remote mining environment.
