We are looking for a Financial Controller on a V.I.E. contract to join our teams as part of the Eastlink project, with an estimated budget of EUR 1.1 billion.

The project is currently in the phase of defining the Cost+Fee contract value. The construction phase is due to begin in October 2027 and involves the construction of 35 km of railway track, including earthworks and the construction of several viaducts. The role is based in Sweden between the towns of Vagnhärad and Nyköping.

 

 

As part of the project management team and reporting to the project’s CFO, your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Preparing and monitoring monthly client reporting tools,
  • Helping to develop budget control: monitoring commitments, cost allocation,
  • monitoring the balance sheet for own work and subcontracting,
  • Assisting with the preparation of interim site progress reports,
  • Carrying out ad hoc analyses: risk, profitability and productivity assessments, etc.

 

 

Could this be the role for you?

 

  • You have at least one year’s experience in similar roles.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and fluency in English are essential.
  • Confidentiality is of the utmost importance in this role.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
  • Your attention to detail, reliability, and analytical and summarising skills are key assets for this role.
  • Your ability to listen and your close working relationship with operational staff will make you a recognised point of contact.
