Mechanical Site Engineer dedicated to overseeing mechanical aspects of construction projets, resolving coordination issues, managing subcontractors, and optimizing performance to achieve project milestones within budget.

 

Key Responsabilities

 

  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Coordinating site activities with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
  • Inspecting mechanical installations to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, piping, pumps, and mechanical systems
  • Conducting site measurements, reporting progress, and updating documentation
  • Identifying and resolving minor technical issues on site
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with WHS procedures
  • Communicating effectively with site teams, supervisors, and project engineers
  • Monitoring quality, testing, and commissioning support for mechanical systems

 

Your profile

 

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Up to 1 year’ experience in this sector (construction industry)
  • Experience coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple site tasks
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet project deadlines
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAE software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or SolidWorks
