Mechanical Site Engineer dedicated to overseeing mechanical aspects of construction projets, resolving coordination issues, managing subcontractors, and optimizing performance to achieve project milestones within budget.
Key Responsabilities
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Coordinating site activities with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
- Inspecting mechanical installations to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements
- Basic understanding of HVAC, piping, pumps, and mechanical systems
- Conducting site measurements, reporting progress, and updating documentation
- Identifying and resolving minor technical issues on site
- Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with WHS procedures
- Communicating effectively with site teams, supervisors, and project engineers
- Monitoring quality, testing, and commissioning support for mechanical systems
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Up to 1 year’ experience in this sector (construction industry)
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple site tasks
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet project deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of CAD/CAE software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or SolidWorks
