Project Overview
The V.I.E. Site Engineer will support the delivery of a major underground infrastructure project in Washington, DC. The project consists of constructing a Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) tunnel and its ancillary structures to connect to the existing sewer network. Its purpose is to collect and store combined sewer overflows and stormwater runoff and convey them to the DC Water Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, improving water quality in the Potomac River.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of site operations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Senior Engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and as-built drawings.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety requirements on site.
- Support the preparation of project schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring quality control procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities, utility companies, and other relevant entities under the guidance of senior team members. Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Eligible for the French V.I.E. program.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and understand project documentation and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of construction project management, industry standards, and safety standards.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Experience on Civil Construction Site preferred
