We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting land and property surveys, collecting data, and preparing reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and career development in the surveying field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Surveys:
• Assist in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Set up and operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Measure distances, angles, and elevations accurately.

2. Data Collection & Analysis:
• Collect and record survey data in the field.
• Assist in the analysis and interpretation of survey data.
• Prepare maps, sketches, and detailed drawings from field notes.

3. Documentation & Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of survey reports and documentation.
• Ensure all survey data is accurately recorded and maintained.
• Provide support in the preparation of legal documents and boundary descriptions.

4. Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with Senior Surveyors and other team members.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the Senior Surveyor.

5. Compliance & Safety:
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.

 

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Some experience in surveying or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in survey-related software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
