Job Description:
Bouygues Bâtiment International is seeking a General Works Production Manager to join the SETAO teams and contribute to the development of Phase 2 of the Yopougon University Hospital, a large-scale hospital project (approx. €100 million). Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all trades works in accordance with the objectives set by management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage meetings with the client to ensure smooth and effective communication throughout the project.
- Take charge of and follow up on client-requested changes to meet their expectations and requirements.
- Manage the execution schedule for all trades, ensuring deadlines are met, particularly by implementing lean management practices.
- Oversee end-of-project financial forecasting by steering project margins and taking risks and opportunities into account.
- Supervise the production teams: structural works, envelope (shell & core), architectural trades, and technical trades.
- Facilitate and coordinate project team meetings, define priorities across all trades, and delegate tasks to on-site teams.
- Ensure works are carried out in compliance with company safety standards.
- Provide regular reporting to management and project teams.
About You:
- You have solid technical knowledge, particularly in the hospital construction sector and all trades activities.
- You are recognized for your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and both internal and external teams.
- You demonstrate rigor and organizational skills in your work, and pay close attention to meeting quality, time, and safety objectives.
- You are able to take a step back and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- You uphold the company’s values, especially regarding safety on-site.
- You have at least 10 years of experience on similar and complex projects.
