About the Role

 

Under the supervision and reporting to the project Manager, you will be in charge of coordinating and managing the work associated with the deployment of our solutions on a major civil infrastructure project in Adelaide.

  • Assisting Project Manager in managing overall Project operations & support related to the deployment of UBY solutions. 
  • Supervise site installation teams and provide assistance/support during installation activities where required.
  • Site work will involve overseeing and assisting with the installation of instrumentation in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and method statements; installing, programming and commissioning data loggers and telemetry devices; maintaining impeccable records and ITPs.
  • Assisting Project Manager to managing works programs and scheduling personnel and subcontractors where personnel are assigned to you for project specific purposes.
  • Enforcing high H&S and Quality standard on our operations. 
  • Managing commissioning, customer training, support with the product data managers. 
  • Ensuring a high level of satisfaction of our clients
 
 
Profile
 
  • Trade or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Science, Mining, or Construction Background (i.e. Civil Engineering / Environmental / Physical Geography / Geology / Electrical / Instrumentation)
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of direct experience working in management on major civil infrastructure projects : tunnels, structures, etc., with a passion for digital products and services. 
  • You are confident in working within a team, liaising with subcontractors and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Experience in the implementation of Instrumentation & Monitoring technologies such as piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers, strain gauges and load cells, among others in accordance with construction drawings, specifications and method statements  and some background in geotechnical engineering is highly desirable.
  • You are curious, thorough, and self-driven with a keen ear for your clients’ needs and pain-points to which you try to find the best solutions. 
  • You are capable of working autonomously but are also a team player and feel comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment.  
  • Good organisational, communication and administrative skills. Motivated and enthusiastic to learn new skills. Detailed and quality driven. Willing to take on responsibility. A sound understanding of HSE principles and practices.
  • Have valid working rights in Australia, driving license etc.
