The Surveyor will perform surveying and measurement activities to support construction execution, including setting out and checking alignment, elevations, and dimensions. The role will involve preparing and maintaining survey records, sketches, and reports for production use and progress tracking. The Surveyor will coordinate with production teams to confirm survey points and resolve discrepancies during construction activities. Responsibilities include verifying as-built information, supporting QA/QC checks related to dimensions and levels, and assisting in the preparation of survey data for reporting. The role will also support control points management and ensure proper documentation of field measurements and results.
- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical surveying background)
- Experience working in construction surveying and site measurement activities, preferably in infrastructure or building projects
- Familiarity with using surveying instruments and tools to collect and verify coordinates, levels, and distances
- Strong understanding of surveying concepts such as setting out, leveling, traverse/control points, and reading technical drawings
- Ability to produce clear field notes, sketches, and measurement reports in a timely manner
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with production and site teams to meet daily work requirement
- Basic knowledge of QA/QC practices as they relate to measurement verification and documentation
- Compliance with site HSE requirements and safe working practices during field activities
