Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.

I’m excited to be recruiting for a Marine Sub-Agent role within the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting the Sizewell C project — a landmark 3.2-gigawatt low-carbon power station that will supply clean, reliable electricity to around 6 million homes for the next 60 years.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in the safe and efficient delivery of offshore marine construction activities. You’ll support the Marine Agent by managing specific sections of offshore work, coordinating daily operations, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. You’ll assist with critical construction documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and permits to work, and help drive continuous improvement by monitoring offshore productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting offshore HSE practices through daily briefings, safety tours, and permit management

  • Coordinating marine construction activities to meet technical and schedule requirements

  • Conducting inspections and quality checks, contributing to audits and handover documentation

  • Tracking site performance, maintaining work plans, and reporting on progress

  • Acting as a key offshore interface with vessel crews, support teams, and stakeholders

  • Supporting risk and issue management to maintain safe and effective delivery

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in offshore or marine civil engineering or related fields

  • Strong understanding of safe systems of work in offshore environments

  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results independently

  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team approach

  • Flexibility in working hours and offshore deployment

  • Proficiency in programme development, productivity tracking, and quality processes

Joining the CWA means becoming part of a collaborative alliance committed to delivering Sizewell C with excellence and integrity. We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
