Bouygues Energies & Services (part of Equans) has a fantastic opportunity available for a Project Buyer & Logistics Lead to join us in our Bristol office.

 

This will be a 6-month fixed term contract to cover maternity.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity for a Procurement and Logistics professional to work on the Hinkley Point C project, one of the most exciting projects out there!

  

Job Purpose:

 

To support and manage procurement activities for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) project, including RFP preparation, tender assessments, supplier engagement, and subcontract negotiations.

 

To manage the ‘off-site’ transport activity from manufacturing location to client storage or HPC. The role also involves maintaining compliance with project and safety standards, refining procurement processes

 

The Role:

 

  • Procurement strategy and planning - develop and support the overall Procurement Strategy and Schedule alongside the Project Procurement Manager.
  • Supplier and contract management.
  • Financial and commercial coordination.
  • Assist on-site and Care and Maintenance colleagues with their procurement activities.
  • Off-site logistics - support the Work Package Leads with the successful on time delivery of all allocated transport work packages.
  • Tactical/Indirect Procurement.
  • Manage the post subcontract award supplier relationship with the logistics and transport suppliers.
