We are currently looking for an experienced Bulding Envelope Manager to work on the construction of a large luxury hotel and residential complex located in the Cayman Islands, currently in the preparatory phase of works.
You will oversee a budget of at least ~$100M, managing a team of 4 site engineers and ensuring the technical excellence of all building envelope systems.
Your main responsibilities will include :
Oversee all trades related to the building envelope and external finishes of the complex: roofing, glazing, railings, curtain walls, and stucco.
Ensure the quality, compliance, and durability of all systems that guarantee the building’s watertightness and aesthetics. You will operate autonomously, in direct coordination with the project management team and the client.
Manage the entire technical scope: defining specifications, validating subcontractors’ proposals, supervising compliant installation, overseeing compliance testing, closing out final punch lists, and certifying project handover.
Lead and supervise a team of 4 specialized site engineers, organizing their work and validating their technical analyses while retaining overall responsibility for compliance and quality.
From an administrative and financial standpoint, you will rigorously manage a ~$100 million budget: monitoring expenditures, controlling variations, managing cost overruns, handling subcontractual matters, and ensuring full administrative traceability.
Coordinate with heads of other disciplines to anticipate interface conflicts and optimize the project’s critical path, producing strategic monthly reports and maintaining proactive communication.
Finally, you will ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and both local and international regulations.
What about you ?
- You have solid experience (at least 10 years) in construction management on complex projects, ideally internationally.
- You are proficient in office tools and project management software (MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- You are recognized for your leadership, autonomy, and ability to handle critical situations.
- Curious and driven by technical and architectural challenges, you thrive in demanding international projects.
- You are able to anticipate, arbitrate, and secure technical and architectural decisions.
- Organized, rigorous, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, you also have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, and proficiency in French is a plus.
