We are excited to be offering an opportunity for a Design Management Industrial Placement Year Student to join us on one of our construction projects in the Cardiff area. This is your chance to gain invaluable real-life experience on site, with excellent support from our highly knowledgeable team.  

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • To be studying an architectural or construction-related degree
  • A passion for construction and eagerness to learn!  

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Daily check on 4Projects for drawing status, highlighting any urgent actions required.
  • Monitor the status of tasks on 4P that have been sent out to consultants.
  • Attend design team meetings and workshops, taking minutes and documenting outcomes.
  • Chase queries with designers.
  • Check site dimensions for key interfaces.
  • Chase as-built and handover documentation.
  • Review specifications to ensure the drawings reflect the same info.
  • Monitor client requirements and outstanding actions.
  • Check archived information for legacy issues.
  • Ensure documentation on Sharepoint is up-to-date.
