Bouygues UK has a great opportunity for a Commercial Manager (No 1) to work on one of our upcoming long-term projects in Exeter. 

 

 

Essential:

 

  • Previous proven experience at a Senior Level/Commercial Lead in Quantity Surveying with a main contractor
  • Large project value experience (this project would be valued around £250)
  • People and Subcontractor management
  • Proven and Strong commercial awareness
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work
  • Communicates information and ideas proactively and confidentially, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrable approach to share knowledge with others
  • Effective time Manager

 

 

Desirable:

Degree or other technical qualification.

RICS / CIOB qualification.

Have experience on residential or student accommodation.

Have experience working on building over 7 stories.  

 

 

Job Purpose and Scope:

 

Lead the commercial management over multiple projects or single large projects

Optimise projects’ net profitability and cash performance

Lead & manage & advise on matters relating to Client Contract & Value

Lead & manage the Procurement of Subcontractors and the Contractual & Financial management of Subcontractors

Lead in the identification and management of risks and opportunities

Provide accurate reports and forecasts of activity and net margin, utilising company tools & procedures

Collaborate with the Production Director & keep the Commercial Director briefed on key issues and concerns

To recruit, develop and manage commercial team members
