We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join the construction of a large-scale luxury hotel and residential development in the Cayman Islands.
Reporting to the Project Management Team, you will be responsible for implementing, deploying, and monitoring the project's Quality Management System. You will ensure compliance with procedures, oversee inspections, and verify adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the project's Quality Management System.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, quality plans, and control processes.
• Ensure proper execution and traceability of inspections, testing activities, and hold points.
• Manage non-conformities and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
• Support construction teams and subcontractors in meeting quality requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and monitor project quality performance indicators.
• Ensure document compliance and support the preparation of handover and acceptance phases.
• Administer and optimize the use of Procore throughout the project.
What if it were you?
• You hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in a Quality role within the construction industry. Experience on hospitality, high-end residential, or luxury developments would be a strong advantage.
• You have proven experience in implementing and managing a construction site Quality Management System.
• You have a solid understanding of inspections, quality control processes, and document management procedures. You are proficient in Procore.
• You are recognized for your autonomy and your ability to work effectively within multicultural teams. Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented, you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of French would be considered an asset.
