HSW Data & Systems Manager

Department: Health, Safety and Wellbeing
Reporting to: HSW Lead

The Role

The HSW Data & Systems Manager will lead the management, governance and continuous improvement of HSW data, systems and reporting. The role will ensure accurate and reliable information is available to support performance, assurance, compliance and decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and continuous improvement of HSW data, digital systems, reporting and document management processes.

  • Provide oversight of HSW performance data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely reporting to management and stakeholders.

  • Manage system updates, corrective actions, data quality issues and process improvements.

  • Lead the review and development of HSW inspection, assurance and monitoring templates.

  • Maintain effective document control and information governance across HSW platforms.

  • Monitor system integrations and work with BIM, digital and operational teams to resolve issues.

  • Lead the coordination of monthly HSW audits, assurance activities and associated actions.

  • Provide management oversight of workforce feedback, trends and improvement actions.

  • Support client assurance activities and coordinate responses to data and information requests.

  • Build effective relationships with Joint Venture partners, delivery teams and key stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting quality and the use of digital systems.

  • Provide guidance and support to HSW teams on data, systems, reporting and information requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing data, systems, reporting or information within a complex environment.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Experience with document management, digital platforms or workflow systems.

  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

  • Ability to lead activities, manage competing priorities and work independently.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement effective processes.

Desirable

  • Experience with digital reporting, data platforms or business intelligence tools.

  • Experience in construction, infrastructure or a project-based environment.

  • Knowledge of HSW management systems, governance and assurance processes.

  • Experience supporting audits, client assurance or continuous improvement initiatives.
