About the role

The role provides engineering leadership and support to the Construction Manager within the AIR Alliance, contributing to the safe, collaborative, and successful delivery of works across the Program. Working within the multi-partner AIR Alliance environment, the role supports the definition and achievement of technical, financial, and workforce objectives, coordinates construction planning, technical options, and documentation, and contributes to procurement activities through engagement with suppliers and subcontractors. The role assists with coordinating site teams, plant, materials, and resources, ensures compliance with WHS and environmental standards, supports sustainable development initiatives, and maintains proactive engagement with all Alliance partners through effective reporting, schedule management, and technical assurance. Success in this role requires strong technical judgement, commercial awareness, effective coordination and negotiation skills, and a commitment to working in line with the AIR Alliance Charter, demonstrating collaboration, integrity, shared accountability, and a safety-first mindset at all times.
