Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.

The Civil Works Alliance are recruiting an Engineering Change Co-ordinator to join our Engineering and Assurance function, supporting our mission to deliver Sizewell C — a world-class, low-carbon nuclear power station that will power around 6 million UK homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at the forefront of engineering change and design coordination across one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes. Based between Suffolk, and London. You’ll be embedded within the Engineering and Assurance team and play a vital role in managing and tracking engineering change across the full spectrum of civil works, from early-stage design to construction delivery.

You’ll support the Engineering Change and Efficiencies Manager in delivering an efficient, structured and auditable change process — collaborating across delivery, estimating, quality, commercial, and risk functions to ensure clarity, compliance and continual improvement.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Coordinate and manage engineering change across Earthworks, Marine and Tunnelling, and Main Civils

  • Track changes against the baseline design using both CWA and client systems

  • Support in assessing the value, impact and opportunity of proposed changes and efficiencies

  • Engage with design and delivery teams to capture constructability insights and lessons learned

  • Produce clear reports and KPIs to demonstrate progress and identify gaps or risks

  • Act as a point of contact for all technical change management queries within the alliance

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, complex project environment and who brings a proactive, process-driven approach to problem-solving.

You’ll need:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (2:2 or above)

  • Experience in Construction delivery

  • Experience with site management systems and exposure to multidisciplinary project environments

  • Excellent organisational skills, a collaborative mindset, and confidence communicating across diverse teams

  • Experience with change control tools or systems (desirable)

This is an exciting time to join the Civil Works Alliance as we contribute to building a cleaner, more secure energy future for the UK.
