Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.
Sizewell C is one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and energy projects. The programme will deliver a new nuclear power station in Suffolk, providing reliable low-carbon electricity and supporting the UK's long-term energy security.
We are looking for experienced Senior Project Managers to join the team delivering major building packages within the Main Civil Works programme at Sizewell C.
We are recruiting across a range of significant building scopes, from office and operational buildings through to technically complex reinforced-concrete infrastructure housing critical electrical systems. Each package presents a different delivery challenge and requires an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership from pre-construction and design development through procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover.
Working within a highly collaborative project environment, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate engineering, construction, commercial and supply chain activities, while maintaining responsibility for safety, quality, programme, cost, risk and overall project performance.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of a major building package within the Sizewell C Main Civil Works programme.
Depending on your background and experience, you may be aligned to one of several major building packages, including office and operational facilities, technically complex electrical infrastructure buildings, or other significant civil and structural buildings.
This is a senior delivery leadership role, requiring strong project management capability across design development, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will provide leadership across engineering, construction, commercial and supply chain teams, ensuring that the package is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the programme's technical, commercial, quality and delivery requirements.
Working closely with the Client, consultants, Alliance partners, contractors and wider project organisation, you will lead the development and execution of the delivery strategy and manage complex interfaces with adjacent works, including galleries, backfill, temporary works, earthworks, utilities and neighbouring buildings.
The Building Packages
Opportunities are currently available across a number of distinct building packages:
Office Building
Lead the delivery of a major office and operational building, coordinating structural, architectural, building services, fit-out and associated interfaces through design development, construction and final handover.
Technical & Electrical Infrastructure Building
Lead the delivery of a technically complex reinforced-concrete building designed to accommodate transformer cabling and associated critical electrical infrastructure. This package requires strong coordination between major civil and structural works and the technical systems ultimately housed within the building.
Major Building
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a further major building, managing complex civil, steel, structural and multidisciplinary interfaces throughout design, procurement and construction.
Successful candidates will be aligned to the package that most closely matches their technical background and project delivery experience.
