About the Role:
- Valuation of variation / assessment of compensation events
- Estimating, cost control, procurement arrangement, contractual issues
- Subcontractor administration from Sub-letting to final account agreement
- Identification and administration of early warnings and compensation events
- Review and preparation of commercial and contractual correspondence
- Handle insurance matters
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Studies or equivalent
- Professional member of RICS/HKIS or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5-6 years solid QS experience with main contractor
- Experienced in tunneling projects and a good understanding of ground conditions
- Good base contract knowledge and interpersonal skills
- Accreditation in NEC Project Management or other formal training in NEC would be an advantage
