Join us on an exciting £500m hospital development project on Jersey as our HR Administrator. You'll be the go-to person for 700 staff, managing seamless onboarding and offboarding while ensuring every team member feels supported and connected. This is a hands-on role combining accommodation management, HR administration, and staff engagement. You will be based in Jersey at the project site, there will be weekly island travel, and occasional trips to London for liaison with the HR Shared Service Centre.
Your skills profile should include:
- Bilingual skills English and French
- High IT literacy (MS Teams, Outlook, digital-first approach)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in Shared Services models with corporate HR processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced site environment and manage competing priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Accommodation Management : Assign housing, maintain standards, coordinate maintenance, and resolve staff queries
- Onboarding: Process documentation, manage visa requirements, draft contracts, conduct HR inductions (in English/French), and set up payroll
- Offboarding: Track leavers, calculate leave entitlements, draft leaver correspondence
- Administration: Manage staff trackers, payroll amendments, timesheets, and portal registrations
- Staff Engagement: Organise social and recreational events to build community networks
