Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, supporting the HR Manager and HR Director with day-to-day tasks.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Organise and facilitate onboarding sessions to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Meeting Documentation: Accurately take notes during disciplinary hearings, grievances, and other employee relations meetings to ensure comprehensive records.
  • Training Records: Ensure all training records are meticulously maintained and up to date.
  • Employee Management: Record new hires in internal systems, coordinate introductory meetings, and oversee pre-employment checks, including verifying right-to-work.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and keep systems updated with new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on various HR metrics, including absence and time off.
  • Recruitment Support: Post job advertisements and manage the recruitment process in collaboration with hiring managers, including scheduling interviews and collecting feedback.
  • Agency Coordination: Liaise with recruitment agencies to streamline interview schedules and feedback collection.
  • Compliance: Stay informed on immigration and visa requirements relevant to hiring processes.

Professional Experience:

  • Administrative Expertise: Strong administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher.
  • Confidentiality: Discreet and professional, with a robust understanding of confidentiality and its importance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Organisation: Strong time management and organisational abilities, ensuring seamless coordination of multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD Certification: CIPD Level 3 or currently studying towards it is desirable.
