Essential Criteria

•            CIPD qualified or working towards, degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

•            Strong interest in developing a career in HR within the construction or civil works sector.

•            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•            Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.

•            Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.

•            Digitally savvy with an understanding of LMS, MS Teams, MS Office and other tools.

•            Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•            Provide administrative and operational support to HR Managers across the employee lifecycle, i.e. recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations

•            Assist in recruitment and selection processes, ensuring compliance with procedures

•            Coordinate and support HR events, including apprenticeship/ graduate programmes, university visits, career fairs, and assessment days

•            Manage visa processes for Early Talents, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records

•            Support onboarding and induction activities for new employees and interns

•            Collaborate on HR projects related to diversity, inclusion, training, and school partnerships

•            Liaise with HR Shared Services, the Learning and Development team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations

•            Support and develop professional qualifications programmes, such as ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers)

•            Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
