The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join us as a Marine Works Method Manager, based in London and Suffolk.
If you’re ready to lead technical innovation in offshore construction and contribute to a project that will power the UK’s energy future, this role is for you. As part of the CWA, you’ll be instrumental in delivering the offshore works campaign for Sizewell C — a 3.2-gigawatt low-carbon power station providing clean, reliable electricity to around 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading the development of construction sequences and methodologies for offshore logistics, vessel navigation, heavy lifting, large diameter drilling, offshore batching, and grouting operations.

Managing a team of engineers and consultants to deliver technically robust, cost-effective, and safe marine construction solutions.

Driving strategic supply chain engagement and early contractor involvement to ensure best-for-project outcomes.

Collaborating closely with design consultants and internal teams to ensure technical solutions align with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Reviewing designs to ensure buildability and compatibility with agreed methods.

Providing input into commercial documentation, including scopes of work, performance specifications, and contract packaging.

Supporting procurement and managing subcontractor outputs related to marine works.
Competencies and skills we value:
