Information at a Glance

Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.

As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we are recruiting a Package Manager to join our growing team supporting the delivery of Sizewell C — a nationally significant low-carbon power station that will generate clean, reliable electricity for around 6 million homes for the next 60 years.

This role will sit within the Marine and Tunnelling function, overseeing a critical section of works within the Civils Programme. You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of your package — from pre-construction through to commissioning- working closely with internal teams, supply chain partners, and key stakeholders to ensure the programme stays on track across safety, schedule, cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver a clearly scoped package of works, managing interfaces across the wider project

  • Lead the development and implementation of execution strategies aligned with the overall programme

  • Secure and manage internal and external resources, ensuring all personnel are competent (SQEP) and supported

  • Drive performance across your package, ensuring delivery is to schedule, within budget and to required standards

  • Monitor progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate where necessary to ensure successful delivery

  • Maintain Level 3 schedules aligned with overarching programme timelines

  • Oversee the review of contractor applications and ensure commercial compliance

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, lessons learned, and effective stakeholder communication

  • Ensure all contract obligations and deliverables are met

  • Interface effectively with other teams to ensure an integrated approach across the project

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience delivering complex engineering or infrastructure packages in a highly regulated environment — ideally in nuclear, marine, tunnelling, or large-scale civils

  • Strong background in procurement, contract management (preferably NEC), cost control, schedule management, and commercial close-out

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage contractors, consultants and stakeholders effectively

  • Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills

  • Sound judgement in risk management, change management, and problem-solving

  • Relevant engineering qualifications and project delivery experience within a safety-critical environment
