The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Cost Controller or recent Finance/Accounting graduate to support our Senior Cost Controller. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to procurement, subcontractor management, cost control, project finance, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities, purchase orders, and supplier payments in SAP.

• Administer subcontractor contracts and monthly payment processes.

• Raise client invoices and support contract administration.

• Assist with monthly project cost-control activities, including preparing project-control reports for production meetings.

• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Contract Managers on monthly AFPs.

• Manage NEC contract documentation and support client audit requirements.

• Provide general finance and administrative support, including IT requests and expense-claim assistance. 

• Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of cost-control and administrative processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in finance, cost control within the construction industry.  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.

• Reliable, proactive, and accountable, with a strong sense of commitment and ownership.

• Demonstrates a solid work ethic, professional discipline, and willingness to contribute to team objectives.

• Able to take initiative, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.

• Flexible and willing to travel to project sites nationwide.
