We are currently looking for experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate the execution of a very high-end residential project worth 80 to 150 million euros in Manila (Philippines)
You will report to the Project Director to whom you will ensure regular reporting to the hierarchy: progress, anomalies, expenses, risks.
BBI (36%) is represented in the Philippines by MDBI, a joint venture founded in 2017 with Makati Development Corporation (MDC, 64%).
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operational planning and production monitoring:
- Establish and implement detailed planning of production activities across the site, anticipating and mobilizing human and material resources.
- Optimize allocated resources, respect execution deadlines, and adapt production sequences to site constraints.
- Identify critical points and risk areas in production, proposing corrective solutions to ensure continuity and performance.
- Financial contribution & tenders: prepare comparative tables of tenders and progress/budget status reports.
- Contracts & subcontracting: formalize consultation/designation and implement procedures for monitoring subcontractors (Senior/Deputy standard).
- Team supervision and subcontractor management:
- Supervise and unite internal teams and subcontractors around quality, safety, and compliance objectives.
- Ensure optimal task distribution, clarity of roles, and skill development.
- Foster a collaborative and demanding work environment to achieve project standards.
- Quality, safety, and environmental monitoring:
- Ensure strict compliance with Bouygues Bâtiment International and client quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout execution.
- Implement procedures, check operating procedure application, and lead continuous improvement actions.
- Contribute to the project's sustainable development objectives and lead associated actions.
- Propose corrective and preventive actions for operational risks.
- Reporting and coordination:
- Monitor daily site progress and performance indicators, maintaining regular and transparent communication with the Project Director and other stakeholders (safety, finance, general management, etc.).
- Participate actively in coordination meetings, identify schedule deviations, and contribute to operational decision-making.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, control offices, and local authorities to ensure compliance and smooth progress.
- Orchestrate document and study flows in line with the execution schedule.
Profile:
- Higher education in civil engineering, construction, or equivalent, with at least 5 years’ experience in production management on large-scale construction sites, ideally in the hotel or luxury building sector internationally.
- Strong skills in production management, team coordination, and subcontractor management.
- Demonstrated autonomy and adaptability in complex, multicultural environments.
- Rigorous, organized, and strong sense of quality and safety.
- Recognized for ability to unite, anticipate, and respond to unforeseen site events.
- Proficient in computer tools related to production monitoring and reporting.
Fluent practice of English (written and oral) is essential
