Position Overview:
We seek a competent and detail-oriented Site/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on monitoring and reporting on conformance to plans and specifications, production, safety, and environmental performance on site to meet project requirements. From time to time, the role will also assist the Business Development Manager with project tenders and estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on site matters.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare reports.
- Ensure all quality inspections and tests are completed per QA documentation.
- Monitor safety and environmental compliance in line with VSL’s QSE system.
- Assist in project coordination, procurement, and materials management.
- Support tendering processes as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Engineering degree with 2-3 years post-graduate experience, ideally including exposure to precast concrete construction and/or post-tensioning works. Experience in hydraulics operation or bridge construction is desirable but not essential.
- Competent English language skills and strong communication abilities.
- Australian OHS White Card and Australian Driver’s Licence are required.
