About the Role 

We are looking for a driven, energetic and highly motivated VIE Engineer to join our Precast team.

This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to learn the manufacturing and operational side of our business from the ground up. Working in a fast-paced environment, the VIE Engineer will support day-to-day precast operations while developing practical experience across production, safety, quality and coordination.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support day-to-day precast manufacturing and production activities
  • Assist with the coordination and monitoring of precast operations to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality production
  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers, operators and other stakeholders to ensure instructions and operational requirements are clearly understood
  • Support the implementation of safety, quality and operational procedures
  • Assist with production planning, reporting and documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the precast operations
  • Develop a practical understanding of precast manufacturing processes and site operations

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Recently completed Engineering degree (any engineering discipline)
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift roster: 7 days on / 3 days off, followed by 7 nights on / 4 nights off.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to clearly communicate instructions, safety requirements and operational information in a fast-paced site environment
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment
  • Previous exposure to construction, manufacturing, precast or site operations is advantageous but not essential
