We have an exciting opportunity to join VSL as Draftsman in Hong Kong.
As a Draftsman, you will:
- Responsible for preparing technical drawings, lifting plans, crane studies, sketches, and bill of quantities as instructed by Engineers
- Responsible for preparing site planning and layout drawings including general arrangement, construction sequence drawings, crane studies (positioning of crane, load chart, lifting plan for constructions) and construction sketches as instructed by Engineers
- Responsible for preparing structure drawings including steel structure fabrication drawings and bill of quantities as instructed by Engineers
- Support Engineers on feasibility studies and problems detection
- Report to Project Manager and under his supervision
- Other ad hoc project duties as assigned by Project Manager
Requirements:
- Certificate or above in Civil Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of Civil work Site drafting experience in the structural engineering field, particularly in crane studies, sequencing, cast-in for reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing
- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
- Proficiency MS Word, Excel application
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD software (2D &3D)
- Knowledge on simple BIM software is a plus
- Immediate availability is preferred
