We are currently recruiting for a Surveyor (Aerial Surveys) to join a major joint venture between Bouygues Travaux Publics and J. Murphy & Sons, supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing Technical Engineering Survey team, playing a key role in delivering complex works through advanced surveying techniques, including aerial surveys and laser scanning. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring accurate, high-quality data is produced to support both construction and design across the project.
In this role, we are looking for someone who can lead survey operations within their section, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project and client standards. You’ll also take ownership of survey data processing, reporting, and coordination with key stakeholders across the programme.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Leading and supervising survey teams carrying out aerial and engineering surveying activities
• Carrying out laser scanning and utilising modern surveying technologies
• Producing accurate and reliable survey data for construction and design teams
• Managing large-scale control networks and survey coordination
• Ensuring all survey operations meet health, safety, and quality standards
• Coordinating closely with construction, design, and safety teams
• Supporting reporting, data processing, and delivery of survey outputs

To be successful, you’ll typically have a degree in Land Surveying, Engineering Surveying, Geomatics or similar, alongside solid experience in engineering survey techniques, laser scanning, survey data processing, control networks, and working with 3D design models and positioning systems.
