Specific Duties:
- Management: Responsible for all technical matters relating to Plant and Equipment across Canadian and overseas projects.
- Coordination: Ensure Production teams have access to well-maintained equipment to adhere to schedules and maintain work quality and efficiency.
- Organization: Oversee the organization, resource management, and QHSE standards of the Plant team based on site.
- Site Work: Primarily based in Toronto, but requires initial on-site project coordination and ongoing monitoring through periodic visits.
- Preparation & Testing: Supervise preparation in the main workshop and ensure thorough equipment testing.
- Commissioning & Maintenance: Lead commissioning of on-site equipment and define schedules and methods for maintenance.
- Technical Support: Assist projects in selecting technical solutions and configuring equipment suitable to site conditions.
- Performance Improvement: Propose enhancements to boost equipment performance.
- Repair & Fabrication: Oversee repair and fabrication activities, ensuring alignment with project needs.
- Procurement: Monitor purchases for workshop and site staff and manage stock levels.
- Training: Identify training needs for workshop and site teams, ensuring skill development.
