Position overview
Provide support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training coordination, and HR administration. This role is ideal for HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding process
- Employee relations
- Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures
- HR administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Canadian employment Standards and laws
- Support benefits administration and assist with payroll coordination
- Training and development
- Coordinate training sessions and track employee’s development activities
- Compliance and reporting
- Support adherence to employment legislation and company policies
- Prepare HR reports and maintain HRIS data integrity
Qualification and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-10 years of HR experience
- Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in MS office; experience with HRIS is an asset
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Open mindedness and cultural awareness
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
