About the Role:
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth and efficient technical and construction operation
- Coordinate with design consultants, project RSS team, government departments in terms of design submission and approval
- Ensure all temporary works are adequately designed, checked, constructed and dismantled on site as per the Temporary Works procedures
- Assess the key aspects of safety and risk management of temporary design
- Provide advice to construction team on methodology and alternatives to ensure safety risk are identified and eliminated
- Carry out design calculation and preparation of drawings for minor temporary works (falsework & formwork, reinforced concrete and steel structures)
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree holder in Civil/ Structural Engineering or related discipline
- Preferably a member of HKIE or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years' design experience, previous contractor experience is preferred
- Knowledge and Experience of temporary works design
- Proficiency in Design software such as Plaxis, FREW, SAP2000, SAFE, CAD/Revit, Slope W
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
